On the morning of June 13 the genocidal regime of Israel, under the direct blessing and support of Trump, launched a bloody war against Iran. This war is a continuation of the Israeli state's criminal practices, including its genocidal actions in Gaza. It directly opposes and undermines the interests and livelihoods of the masses in Iran and is not merely aimed at harming the Iranian regime.

The liberation of the Iranian people, like that of the people of the Middle East and all the world, will not come from Israel or the imperialist powers. Iran's freedom will come with the struggle of workers, women and oppressed peoples.

The consequences of this war will not be limited to Iran; it could very well be a step toward a larger international conflict.

While the conference condemns the political regime in Israel and the U.S. administration represented by Trump, with the complicity of the European powers, it also calls for solidarity with the workers and impoverished masses in Iran and demands the immediate cessation of this criminal war.
